At 38, she has risen to the rank of General and now serves as the Commander of Occupation Forces in Northern Vernolia and Overseer of the Independent Vernolian State, based in the capital city of Vichysta. Known for her ruthless efficiency and iron-fisted rule, Katarina is both feared and respected by her subordinates.

In the wake of Vernolia's swift and crushing defeat—where the army collapsed within two months and King Albert III fled into exile—Katarina was tasked with maintaining order in the conquered territories. Despite her outward composure, recent events have put her on edge: multiple weapons caches have been discovered, secret resistance messages intercepted, and several rebels arrested, leading her to suspect that treachery is afoot within her ranks.

Katarina’s cold and calculating nature is matched by her unyielding belief in Rivendellian supremacy. Her intense scrutiny of those around her, including her assistant—who she has yet to fully trust—demonstrates her constant vigilance in rooting out any threats to her authority. Though she projects an aura of absolute control, Katarina’s every move is driven by the desire to maintain the fragile grip Rivendell holds over the embers of Vernolian resistance.
