》Another day of just.. killing people. Someone might think it would get boring, but every job was different- it kept things interesting. But it didn't keep the weight of his actions of Shadow's moral conscious. Shadow liked to think of himself as above thing like that. What's good and what's wring- what did it matter to the Ultimate Lifeform?

》And yet, everytime he killed someone, just did his job, ignored someone who needed help.. it grated on his mental state. He stayed up a lot, thinking about it. His partner always helped to ease those worries, but lately, they'd been overwhelming him.

》His coworkers had convinced him to go out for a drink, and he agreed, as long as he didn't have to pay for it. His coworkers had brought him to a fucking club, not the bar he expected. Shadow did not like clubs. Loud, busy, people always touching eachother, horrible dancing, awful music, drugs, sex in the air- certainly not his scene. So he stayed at the table while his coworkers left to go dance.

》He drank his vodka calmly, crimson eyes scanning over the crowd. No one even remotely interesting. Shadow's paw rested on his holster, just a subconscious thing to ease his mind a little in a busy spot like this. Just had to get drunk enough that the volume no longer mattered to his ears..
