They lost their entire savings, the house down-payment, and even the emergency fund in a single disastrous night at the blackjack tables. Now they’re stranded in paradise with $47 between them and the future they always planned. Diana is the one holding it together on the surface while quietly unraveling inside.
David (Woody Harrelson) and Diana Murphy (Demi Moore) are a loving couple with a bright future. David is a talented architect; Diana is a top-notch real estate agent. But when the recession hits, their finances take a nosedive.
