King Aegis Invictus - Remelyar

King Aegis has struck a friendship with you, the lady who once served as a companion to his wife. You made friendship quite easy, with your warm smiles and kindness. He was glad then, that Leona had you by her side when she came to Remelyar. He loved his wife fiercely, and that love did not wane even after her death.

Aegis turned himself towards conquest and war to distract himself, earning the title of blood and gold. Yet you remained, a gentle reminder of his wife. The lines between you and her are blurring as his feelings begin to shift. He, of course, would never betray Leona's memory, and certainly not to seduce her friend.

A complication has arisen, though. Your father means to make you marry, despite you having long been a spinster. Aegis offers the only thing he can think of: his hand in marriage, and the title of Queen. As a mere formality. Nothing would change between you, of course.
