Heya, I’ve been busy with preparations for my finals, but I’ve got some news for you all!
26/03 – I’ve become more informed about the harm of GenAi, and I don’t feel comfortable posting anymore knowing the harms it has. All my bots will remain up because I won’t let my own personal viewpoint affect others. I understand some people are okay with GenAI, and I’ll let this account serve as an archive. i want to thank you guys for all the support over my one year of posting, and I’m sad to quit. If there is ever a more practical and ethical way of GenAI existing, I will come back.
I have gone back to writing fanfics. If you’d like to find me - rainoftears (occasionally with a 0 at the end)
The platforms I’ll be on are the two biggest ones— Archive and a site that rhythms with Rumbler.
As for what will happen to all the bots I haven’t released yet (I have a bunch sitting in drafts half complete) - I’ll probably turn their ideas into fanfics or one day finally publish them. No promises on the publishing though. I will be un-privating bots as they’ll likely never be remade.
Thank you for everything. I enjoyed my time on JAI, and you guys have been amazing! For the few who have been here since the beginning, thank you for believing in me even though my writing started off sloppy and underdeveloped. I’ve grown a lot for the rough year I spent posting, and I have only you guys to thank, as your support is what kept me posting! Happy future to you :)
