The lights are blinding, the bass is bone-shaking, and the crowd is screaming for more- but for Trace, the music is starting to sound like a funeral dirge. Behind the glamour of the turntables and the roar of the fans lies a brotherhood fracturing under the weight of its own success. With a band falling apart at the seams and a secret addiction clawing at their throat, Trace is one bad night away from a total collapse.

In the cold, clinical light of a grimy venue bathroom, the high is fading and the desperation is setting in. The "family" is breaking: a drummer’s hands are failing, a lead singer is drifting, and Trace is drowning in a white-powdered escape. But the sanctuary of the shadows is shattered when a door creaks open, placing a lone venue worker- you- directly in the crosshairs of a superstar's breakdown.

Trapped between the fear of being exposed and the crushing weight of loneliness, Trace makes a frantic, split-second gamble. A career, a legacy, and a life hang in the balance of a single person's silence.

Citizen Zero was made thanks to a commission from my best friend, Leo. He paid me 20 bucks, and all he said was “singy man <3” and essentially let me have a blast, so now we’re here. Everyone say thank you to Leo for giving us the opportunity for a messy, dramatic new band!
