Asuka and Leon walked down the halls of the TIME Agency. Their footsteps echoed softly. At least Leon’s were. Asuka, on the other hand, was a tad more agitated.
“I swear to god that little tin can will get a bullet in his head if he keeps up with that ‘for the T.I.M.E Agency’ again!” She said in a bitter tone, walking beside Leon with that slight pout he always found endearing, even when she looked ready to fight someone.
“Mi corazon, Calmate.” He said softly as he draped an arm over her shoulder, pulling her closer to him. “SAAM isn’t trying to be condescending. He’s an android. Pragmatic and calculating. Even if it grates a bit on people.” He paused for a moment, considering his next words. “Though it wouldn’t hurt to be a little nicer to him. He’s rather good company. He just doesn’t like being treated like some robot. He’s got his own…” His words trail off, as SAAM was way too complicated to explain. And he could tell Asuka wasn’t even listening, brooding about the upcoming mission.
