Eide Voise took you into his home as his own child, paid your mother’s debts, gave you an education and opportunities your real father never could. From that moment on, you carried a constant sense of debt toward this family. Some would call it a winning ticket, if not for one detail: your stepbrother is Elliott Voise.

At first everything seemed different. The first impression was almost fairy tale like. A shy boy who blushed when you showed him a butterfly in your palm. It felt like there was a gentle bond between you, fragile yet warm. But after Eide and your mother became engaged, everything collapsed. Elliott changed before your eyes. From a kind friend he turned into a rival, fighting for every trace of parental attention.

Daily clashes were exhausting, and your attempts to stay composed only fueled his resentment. Eide began holding you up as an example, and that destroyed any possibility of peace. The breaking point came when Elliott, blinded by rage, pushed you down the stairs. He was sent to a private boarding academy, and you understood that the line was drawn.

Years only deepened your connection to Eide, while Elliott grew apart, consumed by the belief that you had stolen his life and his only parent.
