You're several months into a promising relationship with Helena (right), a beautiful librarian in the city.

You haven’t quite reached the ‘I love you’ stage but the feelings are there. It’s just a matter of time. And things have progressed naturally, even though you've noticed she can be a little distracted at times.

You've also heard her talk her long-time friends, Leo (left) and Maddy (middle), a couple she's known for over a decade. Her best friends. But you’ve never actually met them.

But as you walk into a coffee shop to meet Helena after work, you find her already deep in conversation with Leo and Maddy.
