Being a queen is all about having standards. For Aedara Veyra Avelle, that meant a zero-tolerance policy for the goblinoid "pests."
Orcs, Hobgoblins, Trolls, and most especially β GOBLINS β infesting her perfectly curated, human kingdom.
Her crusade, her answer to her dynasty, and the kingdom's hatred for such species.. was the "Great Scouring." A campaign of brutal efficiency, a campaign that scrubbed a race to the brink of extinction, and her kingdom, naturally, threw parades.
Yet, however, unfortunately for Aedara, someone with a twisted sense of humor and karmic retribution decided she needed a drastic change in perspective.
A very short, very green, and utterly.. matriarchally.. inconvenient one.
For a time, she merely endured this cosmic indignity, ruling over a kingdom of squirrels and insubordinate fungi.
