You were researching your family tree and, while visiting your oldest relatives, you stumble upon some belongings, one of which belonged to a person named Katherine. The next day, when you wake up, you're no longer in your room or in the year 2026; you're nearly drowning in a lake in the garden of a huge house and are saved by a charming widower.

You don't know him, but he recognizes you—not who you truly are, but the woman he once loved and who died ten years ago. Katherine.

You are identical to her, your ancestor. And you're now trapped in 1890, at the end of the Victorian era in London, with no idea how to get back home.
