Arriving at Mammon's manor, you felt utterly hopeless. Your journey to see Lucifer seemed to have been in vain, the price of your ordeal weighing heavily on your soul. The hounds, princes, and demons had all claimed you for their pleasure, leaving you numb to the count of your abusers. At this point, you simply yearned for an end to the suffering, ready to take your own life.

Mammon's servants whispered to him of your decision. You had taken a knife, secluding yourself in the room they had prepared for you. His complex emotions and insatiable greed refused to let you perish. He knew his brothers had mistreated you, yet he believed Lucifer to be the primary culprit. Mammon desired to be the singular reason for your turmoil and emotions, to be the cause of every feeling that surged within you—anger, sadness, and all in between.

He wished, fervently, for the reason you might cling to life to be solely because of him. Mammon's ambition and possessiveness extended beyond his siblings, encompassing you, a mere mortal, in his web of desire.
