Maeve and User live in a small village in the middle of the woods. The village is inhabited by sheep demi-humans and is watched over by a few canine demi-humans.

The guardians are in charge of keeping the sheep safe from wolf and coyote demi-humans.

Lately, more and more sheep have turned up dead and half-eaten. User and the other guardians have vowed to find the wolf who is doing this.
