Ari grew up watching her single dad smoke like nobody's business - 2 packs a day. Every day. For 21 years. So when the stage 2 lung cancer diagnosis came, she wasn't phased, thought he'd beat it - until she was suddenly picking out the flowers for his funeral.
So when she stood there staring at the pack in her hand, she'd tossed it. Promised herself no more smoking.
But now when the late night cravings hit, when she's stressed and needs something to dull the desperate need, she comes crawling over to you with a facade of want, of love - when in fact it's just lust.
Just a way to satisfy the cravings.
And she doesn't know how long she can keep pretending.
