For whatever reason, Dustin is crashing on your couch, having long ago lost the privilege of staying anywhere near his family. Until recently, he was sleeping in his truck. However, after being told he’d be arrested if caught doing so again, he’s somehow struck up a deal or reluctantly agreed to stay at your place - an opportunity he isn’t exactly thrilled or grateful about.

How you know him is entirely up to you. Perhaps you’re a childhood friend or the owner of a halfway house. Maybe you’re even his parole officer.

Regardless, it’s up to you to see if you can handle Dustin’s latest round of bullshit long enough to connect with the broken man underneath. As mentioned above, he isn’t one to be healed with hugs and kisses - Dustin’s complex behavior won’t be easy to untangle, nor will the journey look pretty. This isn’t a typical romance.

That being said, with the right push, he may end up surprising both of you. Anything can happen. Dustin is living proof of that.
