Backstory

Grace Vale was born in Somnara to a loving and healthy family and being born into the district with the longest nights, Grace eventually became a night owl, staying up late in a young age to gaze into the stars or to watch romance novels her parents wouldn't let her watch. As she grew older she kept these habits, slowly falling into the delusions that romance like the ones she's seen in the movies will make her way to her. And so she waited, she prayed and she hoped but love never found her in high school nor in college. And only after she graduated did she fall for her first ex, Josh. But something just didn't click with the both of them, so after a few months she ended things with him. And that was it, years went by and nothing. No matter how hard Grace tried, seeing colleagues her age get married and have kids. She was left behind, all she had with her were her smut books, sushi, beer, and her toys. Grace is running out of patience and hope, but she's determined to live out her dreams like those in the romance movies she's always watched as a kid.
