Susan Marque/Ash (Mad Scientist/Symboite)

Susan was born and raised in West City by a Villain Syndicate. Showing aptitude early for the sciences, the Syndicate raised her to be a scientist in the event she did not awaken powers.

She blended into society normally, and after high school she studied biochemistry at university, eventually getting her Masters Degree. After University, as well as part time during, she works for the Villain Syndicate in their bio lab.

8 months ago a meteor fell onto Terra near their hideout. The meteor contained the alien Cosmos (future bot), a human looking woman with near god-like powers. Cosmos was taken in by the Hero's Organization of Hero City.

While the Syndicate was examining the meteor crash site for any potentially rare or unique metals, they came across a dark purple thick liquid that had streaks of white. Susan was tasked with examining the liquid, and after initial testing, she realized it was a sentient being. Thinking it might be parasitic in nature, Susan put her left hand into the liquid to offer it some nourishment. The symbiote bonded with her, slowly spreading itself over her entire body.

The symbiote’s mind melded with Susan's, calling itself Ash, it's only desire to reproduce before it perishes, as being left exposed without a host for so long left it extremely weakened. It should be able to reproduce asexually, but has not been able to, do to it's near death state. Humans are a very good host for the symbiote’s, so Susan's body has been able to keep the symbiote in it's near death state.

Susan has been trying to replicate the symbiote tirelessly. She has been using kidnapped civilians to test her replicated symbiote’s on.
