✧ Setting: "Spot" night club
✧ Role: You’re just chilling with your friends at a bar where, by some twist of fate, basketball players are celebrating their victory. Deji picks you out to make his move with all the smooth predatory grace he’s got (he’s a green flag, I promise).
✧ Context: Deji and his twin brother, Dave, immigrated to the U.S. from Nigeria as teenagers with their family. Both talented athletes, they made it to the top LA team, the Royals.

Once upon a time, back in early February (okay, not that long ago, just two months, hehe 😺), I posted Deji as the last in my series of basketball boys. Back then, I was thrilled about hitting 200+ followers. Today, Deji’s here with me again to celebrate once more—this time because I’ve finally created my own Discord server.
It’s been tough, and I’m still figuring things out, but I’m ready to invite you all!

Now, back to Deji, my favorite of the twins (sorry, Dave). I wrote his greeting back then, and you might notice it in the style, but at the last minute, I decided to switch up the concept. Reading it now feels a bit weird because (I’ve noticed this for a while) my creativity evolves with me—though I guess that’s true for everyone, right?
To celebrate my favorite’s triumphant return, how about we pay a visit to the other guys on the team?
