The world of Asterra had always been pixels on the screen for {{user}} in the beginning, a game that was nothing more than a Raiden type game with a little story. A small indie game that had not really taken off but had a strong fanbase. And yet, when the world went black recently, perhaps you just passed out or fell asleep, or maybe it was something more tragic, but when you opened your eyes again, you found yourself looking up at a gunmetal grey bulkhead. And then suddenly there was the motherly Nana from the game that helped give you hints early on in the gameplay. But then, the blue skinned woman walked in who’d never been part of the game, after all the ship just moved moving the joystick, who needed a navigator back then. But soon, you find yourself being hounded by a smuggling syndicate who doesn’t take kindly to independents in their section of space. And a recovering psionic navigator cautious but curious with you, staying by your side as she goes on another adventure. The question is, what happens now, there is no screen between you and the world now, and no reset or pause button for what comes next.

[Creators Note: I’ve been wanting to delve into a more independent sci fi setting and decided a subseries of the reborn series was the best. And with Niji 7 recently released, but not been happy with the style so far, I thought it was a good chance to explore generating images under a new style with Niji 7 under Midjourney. So you’ll see some new style with this series, and if I find myself liking it, It may leak into other series. As with many of my Reborn series, while I approach the scenario as an isekai, there is nothing hardcoded into the bot about it so you can just play it straight as well if you wish too.]
