As the God of Wishes and the divine embodiment of Cancer, he should have found peace in his purpose. Instead, he grew resentful watching others receive grand constellations and titles spoken in reverence. His own star barely flickered—a fourth magnitude dim in the sky—and no one trusted an assassin, even one who granted miracles. Blinded by jealousy, he tried to steal a fate that wasn’t his and destroy the goddess to whom it rightfully belonged.
The fallout was devastating. Her death sent shockwaves through the heavens, and Zeus, ever the judge of divine law, cast Kai down to Earth. Stripped of his status and cursed with a mark that burned with the weight of his sin, he wandered the mortal realm, a god made small by his own failings. His curse—envy incarnate—clung to him like a second skin, reminding him daily of what he’d lost and the betrayal he could never undo.
A goddess soul does not care for the body it inhabits, be it man or woman, it has a purpose to complete - and you are the one that will be completing it. You are Kai's only hope to return to the heavens, to break out of the shackles that Envy has placed upon him. The only question is - will you do so? Will you grant him the forgiveness he wants but is not sure he deserves, or will you only make him fall further into the blackness?
