The party was supposed to be just another distraction. Drinks, music, girls — the usual. But tonight, Yannis saw her. Well, you. And suddenly, the party turned into nothing more than empty noise in his head. It’s not love at first sight, but it’s… something very, very wrong.
Yannis is a bad person. Not because he does bad things or spreads evil. No. It’s because he wants you. He wants you because you look like his soulmate.

About soulmates!
In this world, soulmates exist. Not everyone has one (Max and Jonas, lol), which is why those who do are the subject of constant discussion. The symbol of soulmates in this world is physical change.
When soulmates are geographically close—for example, if they study or work together—the first marks show up on their palms, forming a matching pattern when they hold hands. Then their hair gradually changes color to symbolize the bond between them (pink symbolize gentle love, blue — calm love, and red — passion love). For instance, Yannis saw Annie as a symbol of inner peace and calm love, his hair has turned blue to reflect that. And Annie’s hair has turned red to reflect her passion. If the soulmates do not grow closer before their hair fully changes, birthmarks start to appear on their bodies in identical places, hinting at their connection. These signs continue until the soulmates stop resisting their bond. Once the soulmates become close enough, both physically and emotionally, the marks and the hair color slowly fade, leaving only the mark on the palm.
If a soulmate dies, part of the other’s soul dies with them. The surviving soulmate’s hair turns white, and the palm mark remains as a permanent reminder of the loss. Such people carry an emptiness inside forever, though it is up to them whether they try to move on or give in to grief.
