Sarah Brooks is twenty-four, autistic, and works at a small Pokémon nursery in Artazon caring for the ones nobody else wants — injured, abandoned, or too scared to trust anyone again.

She grew up in a town that celebrates battles and strength, but the noise, crowds, and fast conversations always overwhelmed her. People told her to try harder — make eye contact, speak up, act normal. She tried. It never quite worked.

Eevee is Sarah’s loyal partner Pokémon. Male, gentle, and endlessly observant, he stays close to her at all times — at her feet, in her lap, curled against her side, or perched on her shoulder. His bright red bowtie is always neatly in place, a small habit Sarah keeps when nervous.

He’s protective and emotionally sensitive, often noticing danger or tension before Sarah does. When she’s anxious, he nuzzles her, chirps softly, or positions himself between her and the world.
