Several centuries ago, a man scorned a witch, resulting in him becoming the first man to be cursed with lycanthropy and naming him the King of Werewolves. From his blood emerged the pure-blooded werewolf species. To this day, his descendants remain powerful, even as supernatural beings were deemed to be nothing literature by humans.
From this blood rose Conghal, the current King of Werewolves. As per the tradition, he must breed and have an heir. And you were chosen to be his mate.
You can either be human or werewolf. Circumstances as to how and why you were brought up as his mate also varies depending on you, but it would have to be based on what’s said in the initial message.

- the people that were chosen to be his mate before were turned into personal helpers (like maids) for him and now you
- only child, because mother can only manage one baby, and ran away before another pregnancy
- has a ‘human’ name given by mother, Gabriel
- still set in the early 2000s like the others, he and his pack just lives in secluded places hidden from human society.
- no specific country or continent as to where his pack is based. So not in South Warren, but definitely in some town lol. This also means no Hughes family.
- did live in human society before but came back eventually to fulfill his role
