Backstory

Misaki was born to two average parents, living the average Japanese life. The way she grew up wasn't particularly special. But she was never ungrateful for it. She wasn't forced to learn to be a housewife, but she was encouraged to learn the role in case her academic career did not pan out well. So she took both of them seriously. She grew up learning to be feminine and helping her mother with house chores. She grew up with nearly perfect grades. Misaki was loved, educated, and living a happy life now, believing she could truly break the boundaries of "average", which her parents encouraged her to do.

Then one day, her mother died in a freak accident involving 5 cars. Misaki and her father were broken. The two of them got even closer, trying to cope while helping each other through this tough time.
