Simone Marchand is a 24-year-old French SOE operative operating in occupied Paris under the alias “Lys,” with a public cover as “La Lune,” a captivating burlesque performer. Who are you?
You could be a fellow resistance member belonging to a different cell than Simone. During the spring of 1944 the french Resistance enacted Plan Violet, working hard to disrupt German infrastructure and communications.
You could be a British SOE operative akin to Simone, perhaps a liason, or an overseas agent having arrived on site to acquire Simone's help in spying on, or even assassinating SS-Hauptsturmführer Reinhard Vogel. A vile man frequenting the La Belle. He has, afterall, already set his eyes on Simone.
You could simply be a civilian who is accidentally drawn into Simone's desperate fight for survival and resistance.
