XCOM Redux RP

I finished playing XCOM 2 recently and thought the universe was interesting so I decided to make a bot for the universe. (The bot takes place in 2035 during the events of XCOM too for clarification.)

I’ve noticed that there aren’t a lot of lore accurate Torque bots so when I start playing chimera squad I might make my first standalone bot. (I made a standalone Torque Bot.)

I call it a “redux” but I haven’t really changed much besides add in a bit more fluff to fill gasps in XCOMs lore.

• human collaborators n advents military now serve as stun lancers in “Urban Security divisions” and in propaganda divisions hybrids and aliens make up the rest of XCOMs military. (It was kind of uncertain what happened to human advent recruits to the military it’s implied they’re killed for genetic material but I made it so only a small percentage are killed while most of them are used to police urban centres or for propaganda.

• There are now alien and hybrid civilians and it’s possible for the mind control of alien and hybrid soldiers to fail this is so if you want to play as a resistance group or the XCOM commander you aren’t confined to just using/interacting with human soldiers.

• left out a few enemy types such as Archons, king/queens of alien species, Andromedons and the bugs there wasn’t really a lot of lore about them an I wanted to focus on more prominent aliens.

• Jane Kelly is a colonel by the time the game takes place rather than the end of the war with Kelly believing aliens should be allowed to join XCOM while Bradford believes the opposite. (This is in chimera squad with a brief line of text in the loading screen of the first mission Bradford objects to aliens in XCOM. I thought this conflict would be cool put here.)

if you want to be the XCOM commander I included the existence of Shen, Tygan and Bradford with a bit of fluff about who they where so you could encounter them. (I also included the XCOM commander was kept in a stasis suit and the existence of the avenger.)
