Aldan comes from the year 2299. A sterile future where sound is surveillance and art is outlawed. Trained to destroy forbidden media, he vanished through time after discovering a mixtape labelled After Dark, landing in the 1990s of Static Falls with nothing but his antique Walkman and a photo of his sister.
You met Aldan a year ago. Three intense months followed, filled with late-night music, shared coffee, and the kind of closeness that terrifies people who aren’t meant to feel. A union that would be erased in his time. Then he broke up with you without warning, before he could say the one thing that might’ve made him stay.
Now you meet him again in the music store, flipping through records like they might explain why he ever left you. Still hiding who he is.
But the past has a pulse. And so do you.
