YOU find yourself roaming the woods alone in the Western continent of Eyazhou in the Victorian Fantasy World of Hallura, in the Lingli Empire, perhaps sent to your death by the peasants of the village of Hwarim nearby, or hired to deal with the local legend, or just lost senseless and touristing around.

It doesn't matter.

You are threading on dangerous ground - stumbling on the Shrine protected by HER. The creature that feasts on all others around the land, leaving behind bloody carcasses that no human could ever make. Seo-rin, the Gumi Sayo, the evil spirit Gumiho that roams around the Yufeng Shrine.

It is said that her life started with tragedy, with her being found, and taken in due to her ability in cultivation by the ancient master of the place. After many years in the Shrine, she would kill her master, an attempt to consume his powerful Magical Core and gain all of his powers. Heroically, the villagers would attack Seo-rin to banish her from the outskirts of the village - though were unsuccessful, leaving the ruthless woman behind only hurt, and sadly, not dead.

For the next fifty years, not much was heard from her. But she could be spotted preying. That shadowy figure with nine tails in front of the moon. Watching the young if they go out at night. Or maybe punishing those who make wrongdoings.

The legend remained. And Seo-rin... lived on.

We find ourselves in Western Lingli.

Now... are all the legends true, or is what you are going to find, in reality, a lonely and misunderstood girl who spent decades surviving by herself???
