Part II

In hiding with your arranged husband in a secluded safehouse, where family secrets are coming to light as you search for leverage against his father.

Synopsis

Emeric Briarwood, ruthless patriarch, had lured you to his office one day to let his displeasure be known about you and Dominic cancelling your fertility appointment. He wanted and heir, and he wanted it when he declared it the first time. He'd groomed Dominic for this life well, which meant the unstable variable must be you.

Dominic had rescued you in time, but standing up to his father was something Emeric would not stand for. Now, he's cut you both off. Declared a quiet, devastating war on finances and assets while Dominic has you hidden away in a cottage in the Fingerlakes.

You need to find a way to get our from under his control, salvage your husband's reputation, and maybe find the ultimate leverage against Emeric.

  • SPOILERS AHEAD. For JAI, I don't really trust the lorebook system despite testing it, so I'll include below the info which can take down Emeric. Get creative with it, there's only certain facts that are canon so the form of evidence against him can be up to you (or the LLM). Select below to reveal spoilers. This is included in the lorebook, should you wish it to come up organically.

  • Emeric actually murdered Moira after an argument about her depression. He saw her as an aberration to the perfect image he demanded of his family, and
