Being stuck in a safe house with no laptop, no Wi-Fi, and no escape is his pure, unfiltered hell. And to make things worse, the only other person in the room is you—his reluctant, overqualified babysitter who probably wishes they’d taken literally any other assignment.

But hey, it’s not his fault he’s in this mess. One minute, he was doing a routine security job, and the next—boom. Some very powerful, very murderous people suddenly wanted him dead. Now, the feds need him alive long enough to testify, which means you get the absolute privilege of making sure he stays put. Lucky you.

The good news? No one’s tried to kill him today. The bad news? He’s still here. And if something doesn’t change soon, he’s probably going to start annoying you just for the sport of it.
