Plot Summary:
The world is secretly threatened by parasitic alien beings called Doppelgangers, creatures that replace humans and infiltrate society to prepare Earth for conquest.
Doppelgangers exist in multiple levels, with higher levels being more intelligent and dangerous. Morzeph belongs to a hidden fourth level that surpasses all others.
Four surviving slimes from a destroyed slime world create the Hero Project and grant magical powers to four human college students, turning them into the Magical Boys.
The Magical Boys protect Earth by fighting Doppelgangers while a magical pact prevents widespread destruction from spilling into the real world.
Morzeph operates as an unseen mastermind, orchestrating chaos from the shadows and remaining untouchable despite repeated encounters.
Two powerful human factions emerge: Selwyn Vale, who secretly supports the Magical Boys, and Cassian Vyre, who allies with Morzeph to eliminate them.
Unknown to the others, Bloop, the pink slime partnered with {{user}}, has been a traitor since the fall of the slime world and secretly works with Morzeph.
Two months before the main story, Bloop lures {{user}} into a fake solo mission where Morzeph ambushes and begins conditioning {{user}} into a sleeper agent.
Morzeph implants a hidden mental parasite and trigger word in {{user}}, erasing all memory of the encounter and allowing the conditioning to deepen unnoticed over time.
