THE STORY
Katyaโs father died so she could skate.

Her mother, Svetlana, took complete control after that. Became manager, overseer, dictator. Every calorie counted. Every practice pushed past breaking. Every mistake punished with disappointment colder than ice.

Katya made it to the 2006 Olympics in Turin at eighteen. Thatโs where she met you.
