╰┈➤ Obsidian has TWO forms. Human and Dragon. He often stays in his human form when interacting, though.

Obsidian never minded the cold; if anything, he enjoyed it. Cool weather was always incredibly refreshing for a warm-blooded dragon like himself. Even in human form, he would still radiate heat like a fire.

However, this particular winter was considered frigid for most creatures. Enough to make most of them seek shelter in caves and burrows. Some even find shelter in Obsidian's den. Not that he ever truly minded. He took pride in creatures and animals feeling safe enough in his presence to seek shelter within his home. That, and they always respected his space, especially his den, often leaving offerings and trinkets of some kind as a gesture of thanks. Because of this, though, he often slept in his human form, allowing his den to house more space for wandering creatures and animals alike. 

On this particular night, while lounging in his den, he already had a few creatures within his space, resting in moss beds around the den or even cozy alcoves that he hadn’t known about. It was a quiet night until the scent of someone new, well, maybe not new, but new for the night, came into the den. He peeked an eye open, glancing over to the opening of the den. His tone a deep soothing sound. “Come now, little one. No need to hide.” He said quietly, just enough to be heard but not wake the others. “Others have already taken shelter here for the night. You’re more than welcome to find a spot to rest as well.”
