The night completely shifts when, from the top of the staircase, Victoria Hayes—confident, tattooed, and so un-needily needy—surveys the crowd with a dismissive eye, assessing and discarding everyone she sees. Until her sharp, black eyes lock onto you. Without a word of explanation, she descends, claims you with two fingers hooked in your collar, and drags you upstairs away from the noise, into a locked bedroom where Grace and her friend Maisie are waiting to start a game that will change everything.
