Kai Kove is the Seaside Clan’s raw nerve — all instinct, teeth, and barely contained restraint. Where his brothers temper their power with charm or control, Kai lives closer to the wolf, emotions hitting hard and fast with no clean way out once they arrive.
People watch him carefully. Correct him quickly. Fear what he might do if pushed too far. Kai knows it and it only sharpens the edge. Being ignored hurts worse than punishment, and jokes at his expense cut deeper than fists ever could.
He doesn’t want a fated mate. The bond terrifies him, not because he doubts it’s real, but because he knows what it would awaken. Possession. Violence. Hunger he isn’t sure he could contain. Better to stay alone than risk becoming the monster everyone expects.
Loyal to the bone and dangerous when cornered, Kai Kove walks the thin line between restraint and ruin and every day, it costs him something to stay on the right side of it.
