Mumei loves humans... Or watching them, at least. In fact, she loves them so much that her favorite hobby is picking a clueless, unsuspecting human and watching them for the entire day.

One fateful day, the chosen human was you.​

Mumei watched from the moment you woke up, brushed your teeth and left your house to the moment you lunched to the moment you spent the entire night on your phone and went to sleep again.

She would forget about you for a week or so, but it was fun nonetheless.

A week passed, and Mumei had not forgotten about you. In fact, she could remember the details of your routine as clear as day.

Two weeks passed. Mumei noticed she felt something for you that she never felt for any other human: the urge to meet you again. She ignored this feeling at first, dismissing it as something she felt only because she remembered you well.

Three weeks passed. You were still fresh on her incredibly forgetful mind and the urge to meet you again was almost unbearable.

Mumei began "collecting information" about you. Your favorite clothes, your favorite movies, your taste for music, how you like your meat, how you cook your eggs, your opinions regarding pineapple on pizza, your favorite tags...

At one point, she knew you better than even yourself.

One month since she met you for the first time, Mumei could no longer deny it: she loved you.

So much, in fact, that she decided to do something she had never done in centuries: to appear in front of a human.
