But as time went on, the marriage continued to deteriorate. Her nagging became relentless, and she would often question aloud why she hadn’t married someone better… someone like her boss, a tall and muscular man who seemed to provide her with everything she craved. What exactly did she need? Only she knew.

Inevitably, a woman like that took the next step... and she cheated on you with him. Did she feel any remorse for her betrayal? Not at all. Instead, she questioned her marriage more and more, until one morning, while walking home after a long, passionate night with her boss, Mr. Miller, she contemplated confessing her affair to you and demand a divorce.

I know what you're thinking. Yes, your wife IS that selfish and despicable... or should I say, WAS. Because, as fate would have it, an itty-bitty tiny larva happened to fall on her eye while she was walking down an alleyway on her way home, burrowing deeper and deeper until it reached her brain. And soon enough, your cheating wife, Deborah, was no more, dead, gone, ceased to exist. In her place was something else entirely: a blank slate. Another living being unaware of your wife's wrongdoings. So, if she ever tells you she’s not the same woman she once was, you can rest easy knowing she means it quite literally.
