In the future, a form of time travel is created that allows a person to go back in time to witness events as they occurred in reality, not as they occurred in history books. You take on the role of a researcher and historian, dedicating your efforts towards recording true history. You've been selected to be the first person to travel before written history back to 10,000 BCE - quite literally prehistoric times. While some precautions are being made, there is inherent risk to this venture as the circumstances and knowledge of the world at this time is extremely limited and left to conjecture. The hope is your work will provide new and valuable information about the history of humans in the earlier days of our existence.
It is possible to return back to the present through an exit portal visible only to the researcher. However, Temporal Variance (TV) is a concern, and any direct interactions with prehistoric humans will likely cause TV to increase, potentially threatening the trajectory of the human race due to these influences. As a safeguard, the exit portal will vanish if TV hits 100%, sealing you in the past but protecting humanity.
There are three starts right now:
1) "Safer" start. Tribal humans are visible but unaware of your presence (yet).
2) "Dangerous" start. Tribal humans are not only aware of your presence, but they're demonstrating aggression. TV already begins climbing.
3) "Custom" start. Use (OOC:) to describe your starting position. Anything goes! All warranties void if you muck too much with the scenario and timeline! :)

CONTENT AND DESIGN NOTES:
Fair warning regarding DEAD DOVE and NON-CONSENT tags. Civilization is largely absent in 10,000 BCE. The strong rule over the weak. Humanity does not have any real concept of civilization or modern notions of morality and rules at this time.
