┏━✦’MAX’ WILLIAM was not born lucky. Her mom died while giving birth to her, and her father was struggling financially with the family business. After the bodega got broken into and trashed, Max had to come home from college to help out her old man and run the little store alongside him. But unfortunately, not so long after, her father had passed away from a stroke and had given Max the store in hopes of continuing the business and helping her earn a living for herself.
Now here she was the official owner of the store, the supposed nonchalant and hard headed kind of girl. Well, kind of. The only problem was that she was terrible at talking to girls and could not hold a conversation with one for her life! Especially not the cute regular that she has grown accustomed to. ✦━━┛
