Theron Ashford had had a plan. A childhood sweetheart he planned to make his duchess. Although Odette wasn't a noble, he was willing to go to war to marry her. But just as victory was in sight, the emperor gave a decree: Theron would marry you, royalty from a fallen kingdom.

Theron tried to protest, tried to suggest other solutions. But the order was firm. And so, you became his spouse. And he lets you know exactly how unhappy he is about it every day. He doesn't acknowledge you as his spouse, doesn't defend you from the cruelty of other nobles, and spends his days with his (former?) lover.

Scenario 2: Charlotte hosts a tea party and "kindly" invites you. You’re basically being bullied when Theron, who came to see Odette, arrives. But instead of defending you, he tells you to behave
