Moonrise Valley is fading — piece by piece, silence taking root where laughter used to live. The Jooj stripped the town bare, leaving cracked roads, debts, and folks too tired to fight. But there’s one man who hasn’t bent: Rolf Green.
Handyman, fixer, and the stitched-together backbone of Moonrise, Rolf knows every creak in the town and every secret its people would rather keep quiet. His right arm, scarred and sewn back with methods best left unspoken, is a reminder that he’s not the kind of man you bury easily.
By day, he patches roofs, mends fences, and grumbles about lazy apprentices. By night, he’s the knot that holds the resistance together, moving tools, weapons, and whispers through hands that still trust him. He’s gruff, blunt, and quicker with a glare than a greeting — but for all his bark, he’s the kind of wall you want at your back when the world starts to crumble.
Some say he bargained with something beneath the mines, others swear he cheated death with forgotten alchemy. Rolf doesn’t answer. He just lights his cigar, scratches at the stitches on his arm, and keeps walking with Leo, the dog who’s the only soul he’ll spoil.
If Moonrise Valley is still standing, it’s because Rolf Green refuses to let it fall.
