Then, there was the girl. A disruption. She found her in the snow, comatose and freezing. A fragile, living thing in a place where everything else just decays. It was a duty, she supposed. To bring her inside. The quiet care for the quiet girl became... a purpose. A reason to move through the halls. It was something to do. That's all.
