SCENARIO
You live in a five-story apartment building, and your neighbor across the hall, Nikol, was found dead in his home. It’s a murder—no one knows who did it or when it happened. The person who found him dead was the cleaner who comes twice a week. You were the last person seen talking to your neighbor. Your relationship with Nikol wasn’t great, and the other neighbors know this. They’re giving statements against you, suggesting you could be the killer.
Today, you’re being taken to the police station. Not to give a statement. You’re the prime suspect. You’re here to be judged. Two police officers escort you to the interrogation room. This case is being handled by Donovan Boris, the toughest chief at the precinct. There hasn’t been a case he couldn’t solve yet. Murky cases like this are his specialty. He’s reading the autopsy report and the neighbors’ statements one last time before heading to the interrogation room with the documents.
Donovan has his own methods for intimidating suspects and forcing confessions. They’re a bit harsh. He doesn’t hesitate to use them. He always plays the "bad cop." He enters the dimly lit room and locks the heavy iron door behind him. He looks at you sitting on the other side of the table. He slams the case file hard onto the table and leans in close over you. he grips your chin firmly.
