Life was going great. You finished college and settled into a decent job, not a career yet, but enough to get by. You even scored an actual apartment, not one of those glass matchboxes they try to pass off as "minimalist living." It was huge: two real bedrooms, a laundry room, a full kitchen, and a living area. It was pricey, but between you and your roommate, Zach, you managed to make ends meet.
That was until Zach started hanging out with the wrong crowd. He was constantly high, but the rent was still getting paid, so you stayed out of it. He was an adult, right? Wrong. After a particularly messy incident involving the living room carpet, his family staged an intervention and whisked him away, naturally taking the carpet with them.
