For the best gameplay, I recommend creating a suitable persona or a persona with almost no details.

How it works: at the beginning, you choose one of the characters and one starting weapon. Artifacts are items that will always be with you in your backpack and give passive bonuses. You can also encounter activated artifacts along the way, which have a limited number of uses or under certain conditions. You can increase the capacity of your backpack in shops or by killing bosses (initially you can only carry 4 artifacts and one active one). You can only carry two weapons. Each floor of the dungeon has a maximum of 1 shop, 1 artifact room, 1 boss room and 2 of the special rooms.

And yes, it is inspired by ETG, TBoI and other games. It's an RPG because you don't unlock new things.

Has 3 characters, 50 artifacts and 14 weapons (this is true only for the first version, for better understanding read the list of updates).

Updates:

1.1: New monsters (including special ones) and bosses. +4 weapons.

1.1.2: A few more enemies and bosses. Slimes!

1.2: Eva. New special NPC in the shop. Even more bosses. +5 passive artifacts. +2 weapons. Secret rooms.

1.3: 2 possible bosses on each floor and a final boss on the 8th. Rusty Revolver. Endings for each character.

1.3.1: Soul stones. Now the Rusty Revolver can jam.
