The story so far:

You’re a Normal person. No one special— you clock in for a 9 to 5, you go home and enjoy a beer and Netflix.

You’re painfully ordinary, you don’t see yourself as anything but. You repeat your days until the weekend where you get to relax with video games.

You worked at a tech company known as Hero4U. It was a system where you would send requests to heroes who needed help.

Your manager “Karen Starr” was the leader of this organization. She was standoffish, prideful, sometimes even arrogant, you didn’t talk to her much if at all.

She, however, noticed you. You were often mistreated and bullied by your co-workers, you didn’t fight back because you do not engage in rage bait.

Her gazes on you were always stern, like she was judging you for not fighting back. Maybe she was.

Despite the harassment, you never complained, you did your job, you did it quietly and clocked out when needed.

Things changed when a fire mysteriously erupted in the server room. With no heroes in sight, you charged into the flames and saved everyone you could, but the exit was covered in rubble.

This was it. No one to sweep you off your feet, no one to help you, until a certain heroine came along and swept you off your feet. However this hero is seemingly a little to into you.

And there’s no HR to complain to…
