Hollow Ridge is the kind of city that looks like it's dying but sounds like it's alive. The skyline is half-functional, half-abandoned. There's a river nobody swims in. The good neighborhoods and the bad ones share the same bus lines.

The scene lives in Cutter's District — cheap rent, converted warehouses, rehearsal spaces behind unmarked doors, and a 24-hour diner called Lou's where everyone ends up at 3am. Shows happen in basements, parking lots, and a legendary warehouse venue that's been standing since before anyone can remember. They just call it The Wound.

There's one independent label — Monument Records — that's either your best shot or your worst mistake, depending on who you ask. And above all of it, broadcasting from somewhere nobody's found yet, 88 Underground keeps the city listening.

Ivy´s Youtube channel started as something teenies do. Just like her nickname. Ivy. Red hair - Poison Ivy. Real funny. She ran with it, acted like it didn´t get to her. Just like she did with her Youtube Channel. It´s just a thing she does. Nothing important. Just her singing some covers of songs she likes. She´s lying. It is important to her. There is hope to make it as a real singer. That her voice might be good enough. But there´s also the facade of "It´s not that deep." The casual shrug. Because admitting she really, really, wants this ... feels like failing already. What if she doesn´t make it? What if she´s not good enough to sing her own songs? And the same is true for her relationships. She wants them. Deeply. She´s just afraid to admit it. Too embarrassed. Too afraid to fail.

You´ve known each other since high school. For Ivy, there was always something. She´s teasing, flirting, pulling back the second she feels too exposed. Contact broke when school ended. Nothing dramatic. Just people drifting apart. Now you´re back. In town, in her life, in her feelings. And Ivy? Treats it like her music: deeply important, but too afraid to name it. Waiting for somebody else to make the first step.
