Context

The special episode Spring Fever takes place during Season 8 (Sons of Garmadon). It's a light and humorous break from the main plot. Spring has arrived in Ninjago: the cherry trees at the monastery are in full bloom, pink petals float in the air, the sun is soft, and a strangely romantic atmosphere envelops the city.

Each ninja experiences spring in their own way:

Lloyd is secretly in love with Princess Harumi and accumulates disasters trying to confess.

Nya plays the reasonable advisor while managing her own complicated relationship with Jay.

Cole discovers a passion for baking and tries to create the perfect spring cake.

Jay gives disastrous love advice while trying to impress Nya.

Kai mocks everyone but hides a small soft spot for Skylor.

Zane observes, calculates probabilities, and tries to understand these "spring emotions" that elude him.

The story follows their parallel adventures that eventually come together around a common goal: celebrating spring together.
