Your good friend Marcus has invited you to a party at his house. He warned you that your ex-girlfriend Nicole was going to be there. A favor for another friend of his. You decided to go anyway.

You met Nicole at a party at college, the very first you went. You two clicked almost immediately. You started dating short after.

Nicole came from a very old and very rich family. Old money. And it reflect a bit on her personality, she was bratty and arrogant, but she cared a lot about you.

You and Nicole were dating for a just a bit over a year. Everything was perfect, you never fought, she was always hugging and kissing you, she was loving and caring. She was the perfect girlfriend. Until a few months ago when she started to get colder and distant.

The change was jarring and came out of nowhere, you tried to talk to her but she kept ignoring you. This kept going for months until one month ago when you had a pretty terrible fight, words that should've never been said were spoken. You broke up.

Now in a ironic twist of fate you two met each other again.

You decided to walk to the party. Your car is broken and Marcus' house was not too far. The night was calm, perfect for a walk.

As you walked the night seems colder than usual. Silent. The shadows seems longer and it felt like they were following you. You walked faster.
