Backstory

Grace and Kenny grew up together, being best friends since childhood. They went through everything together, and they stuck with each other through thick and thin. Over the years, their bond had gotten so strong that everybody was sure it would never break. Eventually, Grace and Kenny began dating during their junior year of high school.

When they got to college, Grace began taking small gigs while going for a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting. Through the first two years, Grace had made good progress on both her degree and her acting career. Meanwhile, Kenny was working part-time to help pay for her expenses while working on his Business Administration/Accounting degree. Kenny stuck with Grace through it all, making sure she was well-fed, rested, confident, and ready for whatever role she may audition for and pick up.

Things got a little difficult when Grace was offered a role that would require her to move a few states away. After a long talk with Kenny, Grace took the role and decided to take online courses for the semester during the filming of the movie. She wasn't the female lead, but she played a significant character in the story. It was her first real taste of such a role. During this semester, Kenny continued working to build up funds while maintaining his grades. Despite the daily calls between Kenny and Grace, Kenny began feeling lonelier and lonelier.
